Job Summary

Through collaborative processes and cross functional influencing the Sr Marketing Specialist contributes to the long-term Do It Yourself (DIY) marketing strategy which articulates the Blue by ADT brand and promotes the DIY product line and service. This is a key role in the day-to-day process of all DIY marketing planning, prioritization and execution. The Specialist initiates requirements and direction for all traditional marketing creative development as well as helping to initiate campaigns and creative asks for digital marketing, call center support, PR and communication initiatives, and IT operations. This position owns the development and socialization of all DIY go to market strategic efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for all new creative requests. Assign and creative traffic manage to ensure projects are completed on expected timeline. Ex. email communications, website optimization, digital ads, print media, packaging, social media etc.
  • Manage campaign set up for emails, digital ads, print, direct mail, shared mail and affiliate partnerships
  • Collaborate with marketing team to brainstorm and develop promotions, marketing strategy and campaign proposals and manage the Marketing teams’ promotional documents
  • Focus on traditional marketing efforts from conception to competition and work closely with videography, photography, print, tv, radio and creative agencies
  • Liaison between Marketing and IT teams to ensure projects are submitted and completed on expected timeframe which involves scheduling and leading meetings with stakeholders and collaboration cross functionally
  • Coordinate with Compliance/Legal departments on all marketing materials and business needs to ensure materials are compliant with rules and regulations
  • Communicate daily with Brand team to collaborate and review marketing assets to make sure they reflect Brand standards
  • Develop and socialize internal communications for Go to Market efforts (ex. mass media, promotions, product announcements) and share with cross-function departments to ensure they are aware of upcoming marketing releases
  • Work closely with Head of Marketing, Finance, and Ops for call-center based pricing, package development, and promotions
  • Develop and manage corporate promotional calendar for all DIY acquisition channels
  • Properly vet promotional viability through financial team
  • Initiate all new marketing campaigns and assign campaign tracking for proper measurement and analytics
  • Work closely with internal Comms team and PR agency to develop and execute positive in market reviews and presence for the DIY products and Blue brand
  • Regularly takes part in and provides feedback on creative reviews, brand accuracy, and compliance requirements

Education and Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.


  • At least three years of experience in a related field.

  • Ability to create, implement, and monitor budgets.
  • Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
