Position Summary
The ADT Health Territory Account Executive (HTAE) will assist in growing the Government sector and other third-party funding sources for ADT Health. This front-line account management / business development role is responsible for engaging with Government case managers and directors within the HTAE’s assigned geography to ensure ADT Health receives the preferred status with the agencies. The ADT Health Territory Account Executive will also help identify and secure additional business opportunities with existing government accounts to include government-related bulk contract bidding opportunities within the assigned geography. The ADT Health Territory Account Executive will work closely and take direction from their assigned Regional Sales Manager (RSM). This is a “farmer” account management and development role with the goal of growing referral volume from existing government agency accounts while expanding our base of agency contracts within the assigned territory.
- Travel required (80%+)
- Accountable for:
- Delivering both existing and incremental sales unit and revenue to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual budget plans for the assigned geography, with a priority on existing government agency contracts within existing states of the assigned geography.
- Maintain and expand existing agency relationships to grow ADT Health sales production through in-person, telephone and email engagement.
- Identify additional opportunities with existing agency locations as well as identifying potential product offering expansion. Also prospect for development of new agency contracts.
- Support the execution of a sound business plan to engage with the case managers and directors in each market within the assigned geography on a recurring basis.
- Will coordinate with Regional Government Account Manager to identify new revenue opportunities with agencies.
- Work closely with the Sales Support team and associated agencies to support the government accounts and ensure any agency-related referral issues are resolved timely and definitively.
- Serves as the primary contact for assigned government accounts.
- Required to track and record daily account management activity for weekly and monthly reporting purposes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Associate degree or equivalent related experience.
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years’ sales experience or related industry sales experience working with account development, business development and/or account management.
- Background should include the ability to successfully handle multiple challenges and prioritize responsibilities.
Skills:
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a proven ability to both work within a team and alone.
- Solid business skills.
- Must be conceptually oriented with the ability to think and act strategically.
- Ability to influence, train, develop, and motivate agency personnel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills in a Microsoft Office Environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong internet research abilities
Reporting line, Reports and Location:
- The ADT Health Territory Account Executive (HTAE) will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will be able to spend more than 80% of their time traveling within their assigned geography.

- To process and close existing agency referrals
- To identify government contract opportunities
- Must be located near a major airport.
Compensation:
- Base pay plus variable compensation component
Pay and Benefits Disclosure
The salary range for this role is $40,000-$50,000 a year and is based on experience and qualifications. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
