Summary:
The Director of Sourcing for the Purchase of Finished Goods and Direct Materials categories is responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement initiatives for products sourced from OEM suppliers, to optimize supplier management, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation. This role ensures a reliable supply chain for raw materials, fabricated components, finished goods, capital equipment, and contract services while maintaining compliance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
A transformational leader with deep expertise in vendor governance, this position designs and implements sourcing strategies that align with enterprise procurement goals. The Director leads a team of direct reports and collaborates closely with stakeholders to develop innovative sourcing solutions that drive business success. This is a high-impact role within a dynamic, high-performing team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business partners to understand priorities, balance short- and long-term goals, and develop and implement category sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive all aspects of the complex strategic sourcing process.
- Ensuring that sourcing strategy’s result in and generate roadmaps of savings and value streams, and where appropriate, innovation opportunities.
- Negotiation planning and contracting with suppliers, ensuring that agreements reflect ADT’s needs.
- Developing category savings roadmap, maintain and track value.
- Develop, manage, and enforce Sourcing policy, collaborating cross-functionally across the organization.
- Manage supplier relationships with integrity, leveraging market insights to secure better terms, mitigate risks, and optimize the supplier base. Oversee sourcing projects by allocating resources, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.
- Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to build a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- MBA or Masters degree in an aligned field preferred.
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in Product manufacturing and Sourcing with an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials for security and electronic devices, with experience in managing relationships with contract manufacturers.
- Proven ability to drive change and transformation.
- Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing processes, policies, and procedures.
- Strong negotiation skills and value management practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced matrixed environment.
- Ability to project manage in a complex multi-project environment.

Pay and Benefits Disclosure:
The salary range for this role is $132,000 to $198,000 and is based on experience and qualifications.
Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and paid time off among others. Employees accrue up to 200 hours in their first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
