ADT Employees Celebrate 150th Milestone at the Marlins Stadium
Celebrating 150 years of service is a monumental milestone, and ADT was committed to celebrating the occasion in a way that honored its employees and their commitment to keeping communities safe.
On August 9th, ADT employees and partners gathered for a special event at the Miami Marlins’ stadium, turning the ballpark into a sea of blue and white as they celebrated this significant anniversary.
The day kicked off with a pre-game tailgate inside LoanDepot park, where 150 ADT employees mingled with guests from ADT’s Safe Places partners, including Health in the Hood and the YMCA, as well as veterans and first responders recognized through the ADT Heroes of the Game program. Reflecting on the event, Dave Scott, ADT’s Executive Vice President, Chief People and Administration Officer, shared, “ADT at its roots is a community organization, and we see the Marlins as a big part of the community that we live and work in. This partnership just makes sense. It’s two great organizations coming together with a focus on providing meaningful interactions with consumers and achieving success together.”
Shana Bonilla, a Solutions Advisor with Custom Home Services at ADT, took to the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Her journey and return after battling breast cancer made the moment even more inspiring. “I love baseball, the Marlins, and ADT,” said Shana. “It would be cool to take the field and throw out the first pitch to show my family that mom’s still got it!”
Throughout the evening, the stadium was decorated with ADT’s 150th-birthday branding, highlighting the company’s long-standing commitment to safety and service. Within the fan booth, visitors could create personalized digital baseball cards, with every detail celebrating the legacy of ADT and the people who have made it possible. DeLu Jackson, ADT’s Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, expressed his excitement about the partnership with the Marlins, saying, “When you round third base and see ‘when every second counts’ and ADT, it really just brings home how special this brand is and how special this partnership is.”
As the Marlins took the field and the stadium lights turned blue in honor of ADT, it was clear that this was more than just a game. It was a tribute to 150 years of innovation, service, and, above all, the incredible team that continues to make ADT a trusted name in safety and security.
