May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a national call to prioritize emotional well-being and open conversations around mental health. Community that Cares: Inside the Mental Wellness BERG at ADT
ADT’s Mental Wellness BERG (Business Employee Resource Group) plays a key role in shaping a workplace culture where mental health is supported, normalized, and prioritized. The group’s purpose is centered around three main objectives:
- Destigmatize mental health by creating psychological safety and normalizing conversations
- Build skills through community, education, and shared experiences
- Drive awareness by informing policies and connecting wellness with performance outcomes
Throughout the year, the BERG offers events, storytelling forums, and initiatives that equip employees with tools to manage their mental health while influencing company-wide strategies that support retention, engagement, and productivity.

In support of Mental Health America’s “Turn Awareness Into Action” campaign, the Mental Wellness BERG hosts a month-long series of events designed to educate, empower, and encourage proactive steps toward well-being for employees. These sessions cover topics such as tackling financial stress and developing healthy responses to stress and offer opportunities to engage in wellness events such as guided meditations. Additionally, all ADT Employees are given access to an ADT Well-Being Calendar for the month of May, packed with daily tips and actionable strategies to support everyday mental well-being.


National Recognition: ADT Earns Top Honors for Prioritizing Mental Health
For the third consecutive year, ADT has been awarded the Platinum-level Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America — the highest certification given to organizations that go above and beyond in supporting employee well-being.
This award is more than a badge: it’s a reflection of how ADT approaches mental wellness with intention and impact. The Bell Seal evaluates organizations on workplace culture, benefits, compliance, and holistic wellness. Fewer than half of employers meet the criteria for certification at any level. Platinum status signals that ADT is setting the standard for mental health at work.
