About the Program:

At ADT we look to our interns to innovate, collaborate, and contribute to critical projects that drive our business forward. You’ll have the unique opportunity to meet with our executive leaders, gain insights into various areas of our business, and participate in community service projects, all while working on initiatives that deliver tangible business results.

Areas of Focus:

As a Technical Intern at ADT, you will gain hands-on experience in areas that involve coding, scripting, and technical problem-solving. You will support our team in one of the following areas:

  • Software Development: Support, maintenance, and enhancement of ADT’s enterprise systems.
  • Intelligent Automation: Design and build automation workflows using tools such as UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate. Provide training and documentation for new automation processes.
  • DevOps Engineering: Optimize development pipelines, automate workflows, and improve deployment and operational efficiency.
  • Data Engineering: Learn and apply ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, manage data flow within data warehouses, and perform data analysis using tools like SQL and Python.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Additional Details:

  • Compensation: $22/hour for undergraduates, $25/hour for those who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree and are enrolled in a graduate program.
  • Work Schedule: A 40-hour workweek is expected, with interns on-site from Monday to Wednesday, and if no team meetings or events are planned, the option to work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays.
  • Housing allowance and relocation assistance are not offered for Internship roles.
