Senior Accountant – Compliance and Process (Job 3016683)

Summary:
The individual in this position will assist the Manager of Compliance and Processes and the ADT Controllership team to help ensure that accounting practices and procedures are efficiently executed in accordance with the company’s policy and internal control framework over financial reporting. Additionally, this individual will assist with the resolution of complex accounting issues, improving existing processes, implementing best practices, and responding to new business initiatives.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualifications:
- Meet with controllership team members to analyze journal entries/reconciliations and implement improvements using Excel Get and Transform (Power query), Alteryx, SQL, Oracle, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Assist with reporting on reconciliations, audit request lists and tasks lists to drive the Controllership organization to complete work timely.
- Work with financial systems team and/or IT team on large data sets to resolve accounting issues.
- Assist with developing testing for new processes and software changes.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed.
- Support and communicate effectively with the financial reporting team, internal and external auditors as needed for preparation of Form 10-Q, 10-K, and other filings as needed.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related fields.
Experience:
- MS Excel experience required.
- Experience with one of the following: Excel, PowerBI, Power Query, Command Prompt, Oracle, VBA, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Alteryx or Robotic Process Automation.
- Experience with large ERP Systems, Oracle Financials, and OBIEE preferred.
- Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive preferred.
- Self-driven, highly analytical with problem-solving skills.
- Effective in a complex, fast-paced corporate environment.

Location:
This role requires you to be onsite at our headquarters in Boca Raton, FL, three days a week. The other two days are remote, offering the flexibility you need while still engaging in meaningful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
