Summary:

The Pricing Analyst will partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate promotion performance, conduct profitability analysis for products, services, and business initiatives, and support the design and implementation of pricing strategies and programs. The Analyst will organize, validate, and interpret large volumes of transactional data related ADT’s sales, installations, and key performance metrics. The Analyst must understand data flows and system interfaces across multiple platforms to successfully manage processes and support downstream business partners. Additionally, the Analyst will be a strategic core team member for many company-wide initiatives impacting sales, marketing, pricing, and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to assess pricing and profitability of current and prospective offerings.
  • Analyze historical sales and pricing data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize margin, revenue, and subscriber growth.
  • Support the development and evaluation of pricing programs designed to drive sales, reduce attrition, and improve profitability.
  • Contribute to development of long-term pricing strategies for complex products and services for across new and existing customers.
  • Partner with marketing to design promotions that balance growth, profitability, and competitive positioning.
  • Present key findings to business leaders, with recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, mathematics, data analytics, or related field.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Outstanding cross-functional teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Capable of working under tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Experience in subscription-based or recurring revenue business model preferred.
  • Strong quantitative skills and comfort working with complex data.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office; advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools a plus.
  • Comfort with querying, joining, and manipulating large data sets.
  • Be able to see the big picture, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and focus on what matters.
  • Deep understanding of financial valuation metrics such as NPV, IRR, and DCF.
  • Ability to assess pricing models using statistical and mathematical analysis.
  • Effectively break down complex data and analysis for non-technical audience.
  • Ability to use data-driven insights to respectfully challenge assumptions and influence better decisions.
