Summary:

As a Data Architect I, you will be responsible designing, building, and optimizing data solutions and end to end data integrations across the ADT ecosystem. You will work closely with product managers, business analysts, other architects, and development teams to ensure effective data capture and integration into scalable and secure data models. You will also be accountable for developing and maintaining data pipeline, data model, and data quality standards and guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand the data needs and provide optimal data solutions.
  • Design scalable and high-performance solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, availability, and scalability across the data platforms.
  • Architect solutions that adhere to best practices and security and privacy standards.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and SDLC processes.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of third-party tools and integrations.
  • Collaborate on and promote architectural standards, principles, and processes.
  • Documenting and communicating the data architectures, data models, data flows, and data dictionaries to the relevant parties.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent amount of work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a data architect, data engineer, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with GCP and familiarity with Salesforce and Oracle Cloud platforms and corresponding data services and integration tools.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex solutions on multiple platforms.
  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with data integration, data warehousing, data lake, and big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data security, and data privacy best practices.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Python, Java, Scala, or other programming languages for data processing and analysis.
  • Certification in GCP, Salesforce, or Oracle Cloud is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
