Summary:

The Senior Manager will play a key role on the FP&A team, focusing on cash flow and working capital. This high-visibility role is responsible for forecasting, reporting, and analyzing cash flow in close partnership with Treasury, Accounting, and the broader Finance organization.

Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, the Senior Manager will lead and mentor a Senior Financial Analyst. The role requires strong accounting knowledge (ideally with a CPA) and the ability to connect financial reporting with forward-looking analysis. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to explain results, identify trends, assess risks and opportunities, and develop both bottom-up and top-down projections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual working capital and cash flow reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper cash flow presentation using the Essbase/HFM financial database.
  • Build and maintain cash flow and working capital projections, including budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop financial models and tools to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Analyze financial data and trends; prepare reports and recommend actions.
  • Evaluate working capital initiatives, translating ideas into actionable strategies and supporting cross-functional execution.
  • Partner with teams across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Operations to explain results, identify risks and opportunities, and drive improvements.
  • Manage and mentor a Senior Financial Analyst, ensuring high-quality output and professional development.
  • Support ad hoc financial and business analysis as needed.

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field required.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Characteristics:

  • 5 – 7+ years of experience, preferably in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate FP&A with a focus on cash flow and working capital.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and concepts.
  • Ability to bridge accounting knowledge with forward-looking financial analysis and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency with Essbase and Hyperion Enterprise.
  • Resourceful and able to work independently.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships across business functions and management levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
